I was recently commissioned to design a series of booth designs for an international technology convention. There was a general guideline delineated by the client, as to what they wanted to display in each booth, but had no idea of what they needed to display it in. to top it off, I only had three days to present the final concepts and make it a win win situation for all. Think fast Phil, you can doo eet!...
I thought it might be fun to breakup conventional cubical shapes floating in space, since the general them was the ATOM... (as a cranked through 3 days of no sleep, 6 packs of siggs ... 50 gallons of java... aaand burning about half my brain cells in the whole process, I managed to meet the dead-line.... don't know how i made it this time.
This was the first concept that came out... exterior center piece "ATOMO TOTUM"(a modern version of a Totum pole), that would tie all the rest of the designs together.
(hope its well received).
note: The following images depict the various booth designs I designed, with brief descriptions of their functionality, and what was to be displayed with in them.
_Namaste
